TCS Trains 3.5 Lakh Employees
The biggest IT services provider in the nation, TCS, recently revealed that a sizable percentage of its staff is trained in generative AI.
The business declared on Friday that it has effectively trained 3.5 lakh workers in this crucial field. Comparing this development to the previously declared 1.5 lakh personnel, there has been a huge increase.
"With over 350,000 employees trained on foundational skills in GenAI, TCS is well-poised to build one of the largest AI-ready workforces in the world," according to a company press release.
In 2023, it became the first digital corporation to create a dedicated business division for AI and cloud services. As of right now, TCS is applying GenAI to improve the customer experience for airlines by offering them alternate routing alternatives and natural conversations in the event that their flight is delayed or cancelled. The Tata Group company declared on Friday that it has been granted Generative AI competency partner certification by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
"TCS's industry-leading and forward-looking investments along with our deep collaboration with AWS have allowed us to achieve AWS generative competency as a launch partner," stated Krishna Mohan, deputy head of the company's AI.Cloud unit.
